On Thursday, the rumours surrounding Valencia centre-back, Shkodran Mustafi, to Arsenal kicked up a notch and his agent confirmed that he’s come to an agreement with the club. Here’s all the latest.
It was reported earlier in the week that Arsenal had entered talks with the German and that we were willing to pay £30m for him. Of course, as with most rumours of this ilk, we took it with a shovel-load of salt and moved on with our lives.
However, On Thursday, the news broke that Mustafi’s agent, Ali Bulut, had confirmed that an agreement had been made between his client and Arsenal. All that was left, he claimed, was for the Gunners and the La Liga club to thrash out a deal.

And despite some claiming that Arsenal haven’t spoken with Valencia, which could still be true regardless of whether we’re agreed a deal with Mustafi or not, the general media seems pretty adamant that we’re getting him. And soon.

The Mirror are now saying that the deal will be done within 24 hours, which is a little optimistic considering even Arsene Wenger said he won’t have anyone new in before the Liverpool game.
This story seems to have hotted up in the last 24 hours. We’ll keep you posted.
