During Arsene Wenger’s pre-Leicester City press conference on Thursday, he revealed that although Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny aren’t quite ready to start, he might take a gamble.

To be fair, I think the comment related to just Kos, since we’re so short of centre-backs now and the Frenchman wasn’t injured, merely resting from his involvement in the Euro 2016 final. However, all three were in training ahead of our journey to face the Foxes.

Mesut looked his usual smiley self, despite his BFF Mathieu Flamini no longer being at the club; Kos looked, well, like Kos and Oli was joined by his beard, which has reached alarming lengths. Slightly more worrying is that is looks as if Calum Chambers is attempting the ‘look’ on himself.

Jack Wilshere was also there. He started on the bench for the Liverpool clash last weekend so it’ll be interesting to see if he gets a look in against Leicester.
