Although Jurgen Klopp was his usual charming self after his Liverpool team beat Arsenal 4-3 at the Emirates, there was one thing he said, which didn’t make sense.

The former Dortmund manager insisted that, to him, the penalty that Arsenal were given in the first half wasn’t a penalty and that Moreno got his foot to the ball.

It’s an interesting point to bring up considering his team won and the fact that there was nothing controversial about the penalty in the slightest. It was clear, Moreno took town Theo Walcott in the area. Liverpool didn’t really have any complaints at the time, and it was saved by Simon Mignolet anyway. Okay, Theo managed to score about a minute later but that wasn’t a direct result of the pen.

Other than this, Klopp admitted that it was an intense game for both sides and that although Liverpool scored four, they shipped three, which isn’t good.
