Kevin Friend is set to referee Arsenal’s clash against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday and the Gunners are really going to need him to make big decisions.

Friend has been known for not calling massive decisions in the past and against a team that could quite potentially kick us off the park, we’re going to need him to put on his big boy pants and step up.

Arsenal have won three times as many games as Watford with him as the referee. They’ve also had two red cards awarded, whereas we’ve had none. Therefore, he seems pretty wise to their antics, if they do get out of hand.

Arsenal desperately need some points and it would be a lot simpler (and maybe less frustrating) if we don’t have the officials to blame. Against Leicester, we were actually pretty lucky to not have at least one penalty rewarded and that’s not what I want, but some fairness would be nice.
