Arsenal will have to pay €20m if they want to prise Bruno Peres away from Torino.

After having sent scouts to watch the player in Lisbon, Arsenal are now said to be ready to launch a move for the player according to a report in Tuttosport.

They claim that the Italians will not entertain any offer under €20m for the 26-year-old, who is also said to be a target for Manchester City who apparently had a £37.5m bid turned down for Kostas Manolas, another reported Arsenal targeted. Round and round we go, where it stops, nobody knows.

So what’s going on?

Who knows.

I find, with reports which claim clubs are preparing bids aren’t the best ones to believe.

That doesn’t stop them spreading like wildfire across the internet, but I would advise caution.

Most transfers happen in a similar way. When things are reported out of order, or in advance of actually happening, alarm bells be heeded to.
