Arsenal’s u23s are having an even worse time than the senior team!

Our youth team lost 3-1 on Friday night to Liverpool thanks to goals from Ben Woodburn (brace) and Gomes.

Even Chuba Akpom’s second-half stunner couldn’t make up for the three goals the Young Guns shipped.

Arsenal’s defence seemed out of its depth, slow and a bit lost, which has been a running theme this season. Liverpool were far sharper and had the recovering senior player, Lucas, in their starting XI.

All Arsenal can do now is pick themselves up, dust themselves off and go back to the drawing board.

There were flashes of brilliance. For example, this from Chris Willock, who could be going out on loan to Brentford this season.

Dragomir was also decent.
