Arsenal will now try to sign Juve’s Simone Zaza according to an EXCLUSIVE in TMW.

Zaza is a player that Juventus have been trying to shift all summer and this isn’t the first time that Arsenal have been linked with him but this rumour seems to have a little bit more intent about it than previous efforts.

That is perhaps nothing more than because we are not only running out of time in this window but players as well.

TMW claim that an Arsenal ‘intermediary’ suggested that they try and sign the 25-year-old who scored five goals in 19 league appearances last season – that’s one fewer than yellow card collected (6). He grabbed a total of eight goals and two assists in 24 appearances, averaging a goal every 120 minutes given how often he was on the bench (he only started five of those 19 league games and finished 90 minutes only once).

They claim he is a ‘first alternative’ to Alexandre Lacazette whom we all know is staying where he is.

Napoli are also said to be looking at him as a Gonzalo Higuain replacement while West Ham have been consistently linked over the summer.

Zaza is said to want to sign for a club which matches his ‘technical design’ specifications, whatever they might be.

Ok.
