When Alex Iwobi was subbed off against Liverpool despite being one of Arsenal’s better players, especially in the first half, everyone instantly feared the worst.

The forward appears to have injured his thigh and now all we can do is wait to see how serious it is.

After the 4-3 loss at the Emirates, the Nigeria international took to Twitter to express his disappointment at the result, as well as pray that his injury isn’t too serious.

Aaron Ramsey was also taken off after going down clutching his hamstring in the second half. We’re also waiting for news on him but it’s not looking good. Even if they’re only out for a few weeks, that’s two more key squad members out and it’s got beyond a joke now.

What is it about Arsenal players that make them so injury prone? What are we doing wrong? You get the sense that the players are probably asking these questions too.
