Despite two rivals appointing a new manager and several others buying players, very few actually pose a real threat to us next season – except Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho is not only known for being everyone’s favourite guy (lol)…he’s also famous for being a master tactician who, except for last year, has a habit of winning stuff. Argue all you want about how he wins, he still does it.
After being appointed Manchester United’s new manager, he’s gone about making a couple of big signings in key areas – more than our rivals have done.
Although Manchester City have added arguably one of the best managers in the world, Pep Guardiola, and a couple of decent players, it remains to be seen how well the Spaniard will adapt to coaching in the Premier League.
Leicester’s main job this summer has been to keep hold of their existing players, which they’ve done – so far.
Other than this, nothing hugely of note has happened and this is why Mourinho’s new team look set to be one of our main rivals for the title next season.
