Roma have loaned out their goalkeeper, Morgan de Sanctis, to Monaco on a season-long loan, sparking rumours that Wojciech Szczesny will be completing his move very soon.
Woj spent last season on loan with the Serie A club and it’s been widely speculated that he’ll return to Italy next term. However, talks were thought to have stalled because they weren’t willing to pay his wages. There were even rumours that we’d only agree to the deal if they signed him permanently.
In the last few days, the talks appear to have reignited and the Poland international has been looking close to completing his loan move.
The fact that Roma have loaned out their Italian goalkeeper just backs up the fact that Wojciech is probably going to spend next season at their club.
