Isaac Hayden is reportedly set to sign for Newcastle very soon.

The 21-year-old has been on the fringes of the Arsenal squad for a while and after a fairly unsuccessful loan spell at Hull last season, it appears we’re allowing Hayden to fly the nest and sign for Newcastle permanently.

He only ever made two appearances for our senior squad and that was in the League Cup, while he made 32 in total for our under-21s.

Hayden always seemed to have a good head on his shoulders and, as ever, it’ll be sad to see him go. I’m sure he’s going to take this opportunity with both hands, if it goes through.
