Twitter is currently buzzing with the news that we could be about to sign Toulouse striker, Wissam Ben Yedder.

According to Canal+’s Ludo Deroin, the 25-year-old could either sign for Arsenal or Seville in the next few hours. Other reports are claiming, however, that it could be a matter of days, which seems far more likely.

The Ligue 1 club want €10m + bonuses but, since he’s been up for sale since the beginning of the summer, I’m sure this is negotiable.

Seville seem to be a lot closer to agreeing a deal for the striker and, considering our link has come out of nowhere, I’m yet to be convinced of its reliability.

Stay tuned, we’ll dig into this one when the picture’s a bit clearer.
