Arsenal are said to be well in the mix for Torino’s Bruno Peres.

With Mathieu Debuchy likely to return to France next season, Arsenal will have Hector as their main player in that position and will be relying on Calum Chambers and Carl Jenkinson for cover.

The reports, which come from Italy, claim that the Italian side have received offers for the 26-year-old but they are believed to be less than the Torino chairman, Urbano Cairo, wants for his player.

Arriving from Santos in 2014, the Brazilian’s agent is believed to be touting him around Europe with Manchester City also said to be interested.

Not much to go on, really. This is one of those rumours that just pops up and, most likely, will come to nothing.
