Oh how the mighty have fallen: Alex Song is set to join Rubin Kazan.

The man who thought he was too good for Arsenal and joined Barcelona, only to be loaned out to West Ham later on, has now been sold to the Russian League.

The midfield has spent the last two years in east London with the Hammers but last season only made 12 Premier League appearances due to injury. Sound familiar?

The 28-year-old is now set to join Rubin Kazan in the Russian League. To be fair, it’ll suit him – he’ll actually be one of the best and get to take home a healthy paycheque.
