Arsenal are apparently after Lille forward, Sofiane Boufal.

The 22-year-old scored 12 goals in total for the Ligue 1 club last season, a vast improvement on the three he netted the year before that.

According to the Guardian, Lille estimate his value at €25m, despite only buying him from Angers in 2014 for €4m. Is he worth such an increase? I don’t think so. However, we are on the look-out for a goalscorer and although he remains unproven, especially in the Premier League, he is an option to look at.

Chelsea are also apparently interested in Boufal and have proven before that they’re willing to pay over the odds for any player they believe might add to their squad.

Are we really interested in the Moroccan? I reckon we’ve probably inquired but I don’t see Wenger shelling out almost £20m for a 22-year-old, unproven forward. Saying that, weirder things have happened – especially in football.
