Alexis Sanchez featured for Chile on Wednesday and, unfortunately for him, his national team lost yet again, this time 1-0 to Mexico.

Having lost 2-1 to Jamaica on 28th May, the South America team, who won Copa America last season, would have been hoping to put things right. However, instead, they lost again, with Alexis picking up a yellow card and being subbed off in the 82nd minute.

The forward is bound to be disappointed after attempting to rally the troops via his Instagram account but this was only a friendly. The real work starts on 7th June when Chile face Argentina in their first match of Copa America 2016.
