Former Arsenal target – if the media is to be believed – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is said to not want to move to Manchester United on account of their manager, Louis van Gaal.

It was only a couple of months ago that Arsenal were being linked with the striker for a massive £70m+ but, while the rumours that he could be coming to north London have now subsided, the talk of him heading to the Red side of Manchester has continued.

However, reports that the 26-year-old, who recently signed a new contract with Borussia Dortmund taking him up to 2020, could be on his way to the Red Devils have cooled slightly following rumours that he doesn’t want to work under Van Gaal.

To be fair to the lad, I’m not sure many people actually want to work under Van Gaal. He doesn’t seem easy to work with in the slightest and for a player as exciting as Aubameyang, you’d understand his reluctance. On the other hand, the rumour could just highlight how silly any reports linking the striker to the Premier League currently are, considering his success at Dortmund.
