Arsenal have bid a fond farewell to midfielder Tomas Rosicky after 10 years in north London.

The 35-year-old is confirmed to be leaving the Gunners after running down his contract and after some amazing moments in an Arsenal shirt, including goals against Spurs, it’s incredibly sad to say goodbye.

During their lap of honour, the Arsenal players, who beat Aston Villa 4-0 on the final day of the season to finish above Spurs again, wore shirts with Rosicky’s name and squad number on the back as a tribute.

The club will miss his creativity, energy and positivity. He’s been a fan favourite for a number of years and, although it may be the best thing for him, it’s hard to see such a player leave. Despite his injuries, when he was introduced, he could transform any game and his style of play never ceased to put a smile on people’s faces.

Farewell, Little Mozart. Good luck.
