Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny both featured in France’s 3-2 win over Cameroon, with the big striker even scoring.
The pre-Euros friendly saw the French team go 1-0 ahead thanks to a Matuidi goal in the 20th minute, just before Cameroon came back through Aboubakar minutes later.
However, Giroud came to his club’s rescue despite the frosty reception from his own fans and scored a rather wonderful volley just before half-time.

This means that Giroud goes level on goals with Karim Benzema after playing fewer games, the very player the France fans want to replace him.
After 48 international caps:

Karim Benzema: 15 goals

In the second half, Arsenal target N’Golo Kante came on and Cameroon equalised in the 88th minute. However, West Ham’s Payet put the Blues 3-2 ahead just before the final whistle.
