Arsenal are said to have an ‘outside chance’ of landing Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer as the megastar with the mega ego gets ready to move on from PSG.
The ‘news’ comes via Italian publication Corriere dello Sport who have broken down the chances all the clubs linked with Zlatan have of signing him.
Manchester United and LA Galaxy are seen as the joint-favourites for the player’s signature with AC Milan in third place, Chelsea in fourth and Arsenal given the same chance of signing him as Real Madrid and any club in China.
Let’s face it, as great as it might be to have him at the club for a season or two, there’s no way Arsenal will pay his wages nor Arsene Wenger risk upsetting what is a very delicate balance in the Arsenal dressing room.
Many might even claim that the players at the club at the minute have been hand-picked because they are not likely to cause any sort of disturbance in said dressing room. Signing Zlatan would be the equivalent of throwing a tiger amongst some pigeons.
That, in itself, might not be a bad thing.
It is, however, an extremely unlikely thing.
