Among the 12 goals scored by England against Belarus was a beauty from Arsenal’s attacking midfielder Anna Filbey.

The Arsenal regulars at the u17 games will know her ability from set pieces and long range shots, as she has scored many goals this season including another free-kick in the cup tie away to Birmingham.
The 16-year-old also got the seal of approval from Arsenal Ladies legend (currently on loan at Notts County) Rachel Yankey who used to coach her. Anna scored the winner against Norway in the first group game.

At club level, Anna played 19 games for the Arsenal Ladies u17 side in their unbeaten 2015/16 season and scored 19 goals.
She was also promoted to the Development team side during the season alongside Taylor Hinds as the Development team was short in numbers, played four games for the reserves and scored six goals.
Anna is a one of the many players with great potential in the Arsenal Ladies youth team and hopefully she will get a chance to shine with the first team in couple of seasons.
