Alexis Sanchez and Arsene Wenger are apparently on frosty terms, according to reports.

The Chilean was subbed off in the 84th minute against Norwich for Francis Coquelin and was visibly frustrated with the boss’ decision, storming straight down the tunnel. According to Matt Law at the Daily Telegraph, the forward actually left the stadium, angry at being taken off.

What’s more, Wenger is ‘unimpressed’ by Alexis’ antics and supposedly, the atmosphere between them isn’t great.

The reports don’t come at a fantastic time, considering we’re trying to get Alexis and Mesut Ozil tied down to shiny, new contracts in the summer and although the 27-year-old has two years left on his existing one, it’d be handy if he at least wanted to stay in north London.

Although this is just speculation at this time, it does sound like something the south American would do. It’s no secret that he loves to play and has been known to be frustrated with lack of time on the pitch in the past, even when his game has suffered as a result of fatigue. Saying this, if he did storm out of the stadium, this is pretty unprofessional and I’d like to think he could control his emotions better than that.
