Arsenal have been heavily linked with Celta Vigo’s Nolito and Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Havard Nordtveit but West Ham are said to be planning a double swoop.

According to reports, the Hammers’ boss, Slaven Bilic, is said to be highly interested in the duo, who were supposed to be on their way to north London.

Nolito plays attacking midfield while Nordtveit is more defensive, which is what we need. Therefore, if one or both did end up going to West Ham over us, I’d be concerned. Mainly because no player in their right mind would realistically pick the Irons over Arsenal in recent seasons and if they start to now, it could be worrying.

There’s probably no need to panic though. We don’t know as of yet quite how interested we are in either player and therefore it’s hard to gauge how serious West Ham are or if we should be nervous. Only time will tell but either player would be a good addition to our team.
