Arsene Wenger is standing by David Ospina, despite the keeper shipping three goals against West Ham.
The boss chose to start the Colombian over the newly fit Petr Cech and the decision left Gooners feeling a little unsettled before we’d even kicked off.
Although the goals weren’t entirely Ospina’s fault, every time a goal went in Twitter erupted with people pointing out how Cech would have done better and there’s no doubt that he would have.
“He has had some outstanding performances,” Wenger said post-match.
“We didn’t concede in the last two games.”
The Frenchman went on to justify his decision by claiming that whoever he picked, he would be in the wrong.
Wenger insists he doesn't regret picking @D_Ospina1 ahead of @PetrCech. #WHUvAFC https://t.co/m9UKhKnScR

I understand Wenger likes to show faith in players and Ospina has kept two clean sheets in our previous two Premier League games but this is Petr Cech we’re talking about. One of the best keepers in the world. Are we really more concerned with keeping Dave happy and making him feel included than with actually winning?
Drawing 3-3 with the Hammers means we’re out of the title running now. There’s no other way to look at it.
