This will probably only come as a surprise to about three people (Arsene Wenger included) but Arsenal’s conversion rate at home is one of the worst in the Premier League.
Our home form has been dire this season and it’s become a real problem. Although we’ve seen quite a bit of the ball, we’ve ultimately created very little in the final third and the chances we’ve had haven’t tested the visiting keepers.
Now, Orbinho has uncovered an alarming stat: our conversion rate at home is just 9%. This is worse than the newly relegated Aston Villa (10%), as well as Sunderland (11%) who are also in a relegation battle. This is not good, no matter how you look at it.
Premier League Chance conversion at home in 2016
16 Sunderland 11%
17 Villa 10%
18 Arsenal 9%
19 Watford 8%
20 Palace 6%— Orbinho (@Orbinho) April 18, 2016
On the other hand, our conversion rate away is 26%, far better than the likes of Liverpool (23%) and Chelsea (21%).

2 Liverpool 23%
3 Sunderland 23%
4 Chelsea 21%

It’s a bizarre state of affairs when your form on the road is better than in front of the home fans.
