Jack Wilshere has resumed full training and, according to Arsene Wenger, is only a few weeks away from being fit.
The midfielder has been out for the entire season thanks to a broken foot, which later developed complications, and it’s fair to say that the boss will be handling him with kid gloves for the foreseeable future.
Wilshere has become one of the most injury-prone players in the squad and it’s therefore no surprise that Wenger wants to be cautious with his rehabilitation. Although the boss is adamant that the 24-year-old should be able to travel to Euro 2016 in France, his involvement in the competition largely depends on the next few weeks and how he heals. As Wenger has said, it’s one thing getting fit, it’s another getting to a stage where you’re able to compete again.
Saying this, it’s great to see Jack back in full training and working towards his goal.
