Guess what? Leicester have won a game of football again!
You’d think that the Foxes would be bored with grinding out wins via Jamie Vardy goals but apparently not. This time, they’ve beaten Sunderland, who actually put up a bit of a fight at least, with the striker scoring two.
After Arsenal drew 3-3 with West Ham on Saturday, this means the gap between us and Leicester at the top widens to 13 points. If we weren’t out of the running before, we are now. Great news, eh?
Spurs have Manchester United still to play and, if they win, their lead over us goes to six points. It’s not looking good, folks.
Words escape me when I look back at how we were performing earlier into the season compared to the unprofessional, naive displays we’ve now become accustomed to since January. It’s not just ‘disappointing’; in fact, they need to invent a whole new word for what Arsenal fans feel watching our current team.
