Alex Iwobi has described scoring and winning with this Arsenal team as a dream come true.
The young forward was once again fantastic against Watford and scored his second goal in as many Premier League starts in a match we won 4-0. The 19-year-old, who emerged from the Young Guns, isn’t just mature on the pitch, he’s a professional off it. Despite his young age, he’s humble and just happy to be playing for the Arsenal first team.

It’s unimaginable what Alex must feel having broken into this team and be scoring. The support he’s received from the fans has been immense and it’s sure to be doing his confidence the world of good. Hopefully, he can keep his feet on the ground and continue to develop in the way he has. He’s shown how average Theo Walcott is and given Arsene Wenger another attacking option that he perhaps didn’t have earlier in the season.
Well done, Alex. The boy done good.
