Speaking to the media ahead of the visit of Swansea City, Arsène Wenger confirmed there are no new injury concerns for Arsenal.

The Gunners are without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky but the boss said there are no fresh worries from Sunday’s defeat at Old Trafford.

That doesn’t meant there aren’t tight muscles, which is to be expected after a week of facing Manchester United and FC Barcelona, but nothing overly concerning and we should be strong on Wednesday night.

However, Danny Welbeck could miss out. The England striker has started two weekends in a row and played over 80 minutes at Old Trafford, but he is still not at full fitness and caution is expected after so long out of action.

Some rotation could be expected, especially with a north London derby on Saturday, but Arsenal need to win on Wednesday to keep title hopes alive and Wenger said Alexis Sánchez, who looks badly out of sorts, doesn’t need a rest.

Fingers crossed we see a better display and, if anyone does need a small break, they are given it ahead of a huge weekend.
