Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny had an impressive March and has topped it off by claiming the goal of the month award on for his first Arsenal strike.

There was some decent competition but Elneny edged out Aaron Ramsey, who won 27% of the vote for his intelligently flicked north London derby opener.

After a number of chances against Watford and then Barcelona, Elneny managed to beat Marc-André ter Stegen from range, rifling the ball into the roof of the net. It beat Ramsey’s effort with over a third of voters selecting the Egyptian’s effort. Hopefully the first of many in an Arsenal shirt.
