In an uncharacteristically sassy tweet, Mesut Ozil insisted that nobody needs to tell the Arsenal team how important Wednesday’s match against Swansea is.

On Tuesday night, the playmaker insisted that looking at the table is enough.

In theory, this should be enough, but as we showed against Manchester United, it often isn’t. Leicester City dropped points to West Brom on Tuesday in a 2-2 draw and with Spurs set to play the same night as us against West Ham, it’s all to play for.

Many are understandably tipping Spurs to win and climb to the top of the table. However, we need to make sure we’re hot on their heels with a victory over the Swans. If we don’t, not only do we kiss our first League title in a decade goodbye, but we risk losing it to our fiercest rivals.

I’m hoping the rest of the squad are as fired up as Ozil.
