Arsenal players will received a mixed reception after the weekend, but there is one hero.
Yaya Sanogo isn’t currently at the club but proved his worth at Charlton Athletic last week when he scored a hat-trick on his first Championship start. The French striker had a troubled time at Ajax earlier in the season, but it looks like he’s happier in London.
That happiness was on show again at Brentford on Saturday, where the striker assisted Charlton’s first minute opener in a 2-1 win.

Clearly the Addicks’ fans have taken to him.

He may look a little clumsy at times, but it’s fantastic to see a talented and hard working talent get some success.
Elsewhere in the Championship, Ainsley Maitland-Niles came off the bench in Ipswich Town’s 1-0 defeat of Nottingham Forest.
Oh, and while we’re on loan players, check out this from Wojciech Szczesny in Roma’s 4-1 defeat of Fiorentina on Friday night.
