Harry Kane has revealed that he was a ‘flood of emotions’ after scoring against Arsenal. His goal was not enough to win the match for the shadow dwellers.

Tottenham were losing hold of the game until Francis Coquelin thought he would give them a helping hand.

Arsenal rocked and Tottenham capitalised but even though they hit hard in quick succession, they were unable to do enough to deny Arsenal a second and a point to take back to the Emirates.

“We’re very disappointed,” Kane told Spurs’ official website.

“We needed to kill it and get a third. That’s football. We’ll deal with it and move on.”

“I got it out of my feet and thought ‘why not?’, so to see it go in meant a flood of emotions.”

Kane has been one of the reasons Tottenham have been doing so well this season. He has scored 20 goals but, perhaps more importantly, he has avoided serious injury and played every one of their 29 Premier League games this season.

He has missed just 55 minutes of their league campaign.
