Odion Ighalo is confident of a League win when Watford next visit the Emirates after their 2-1 victory in the FA Cup.

Although we beat Watford 3-0 on their turf, their triumph in the FA Cup has sparked their confidence and goalscorer Ighalo reckons they can win again in April.

The striker, who scored to put the Hornets 1-0 up at the Emirates, spoke to Watford’s official website after the win and praised his team-mate Guedioura’s goal.

“All I can say about his [Guedioura’s] goal is ‘wow’,” he said.

“When I saw his shot I said ‘wow’ but it’s not the first time I’ve seen him do that. He did it last season at Cardiff, and I know if he hits the target it’ll go in. It was a great goal and I want to watch it again!”

Ighalo has been going through a bit of a dry spell recently so not only did he draw this to a close, he helped his team go through to the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley, which is huge for him.

“If we can win today we can win any time that we come here, because it’s just determination and working hard together as a team,” Ighalo continued.

“We came to the game today with nothing to lose. Arsenal are a great team, they are defending champions.”

As poor as Arsenal were on the day, Watford deserve credit. They kept us out, were patient and held their shape. They didn’t have many chances but those they did have, they took and at the end of the day, they’ve prevented us from winning the trophy for the third time.
