Both Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp’s names have been brought up in reference to the Arsenal job when Arsene Wenger leaves.
Some believe the boss has seen his best days in north London and reckon he’ll be stepping down as Arsenal manager in the summer. Although this still remains to be seen, the media have started speculating about his replacement.
The first name brought forward is former attacker and current Sky pundit, Thierry Henry. Although there’s nothing solid linking him to the job except for his history and current coaching role at London Colney, French journalist, Karim Nedjari, believes Henry would be the perfect fit for the club.
On the other hand, we have another Arsenal legend: Dennis Bergkamp. With this story there’s slightly more substance considering the Dutchman is currently the bookies’ favourite to step in (10/1). Given his experience as an assistant manager at Ajax, it wouldn’t be too outlandish.
Also in the frame is Everton boss, Roberto Martinez, Diego Simeone and Ronald Koeman.
