A loss on Sunday was Arsenal’s third in a row at home.
After defeats to FC Barcelona and Swansea City, Watford came to the Emirates Stadium and won on Sunday afternoon.
The defeat to Barcelona was hard to take but against one of the best teams in the world, leaving out Champions League dreams in a perilous position. Swansea was much more difficult to swallow, Premier League strugglers hugely damaging our chances of winning the league. On Sunday we were favourites for the FA Cup and losing to Watford was almost unthinkable.
Two goals scored, six conceded, three defeats. It’s the first time Arsenal have lost three consecutive games at the Emirates Stadium.
3 – Arsenal have lost three home games in a row in all competitions for the first time since November 2002. Slump.

Back then defeats came against Blackburn Rovers, Auxerre, and Sunderland. They also hit our league hopes and Champions League dreams hard before knocking us out of a cup competition.
In 2002 ,Arsenal went on to win the FA Cup but threw away the Premier League title. This time around it looks like we may not even get the chance to do that much.
