Jack Wilshere took some time to reminisce about his time on the pitch with former Arsenal man, Benik Afobe, before we face him with his new team, Bournemouth, on Sunday.
Wilshere, who’s recently returned to training after a lengthy stint on the sidelines, took to Twitter to express how proud he is of his former teammate, who’s scored three goals in four appearances for the Cherries since joining.

Wilshere and Afobe were notoriously close while at Arsenal and it must be hard to see him playing for another team in a couple of ways. Firstly, because I’m sure Jack misses him, and secondly, because the striker is having all kinds of success on the pitch, while Wilshere has spent more time in the treatment room.
It’s good to see Wilshere back in action though and paying his respects to his former teammate, who has insisted that there will be no niceties on the pitch on Sunday.
