Four Gunners started for their loan teams in what was quite an uneventful Saturday.
Here’s how they all did.
Jon Toral
Toral made his 27th appearance for Birmingham City following a late fitness test and got another 71 minutes under his belt.
Unfortunately, Birmingham lost 2-1 against Sheffield Wednesday.
Isaac Hayden
Hayden played another full match for Hull City despite seeing yellow. Again, Hull lost 1-0 against Burnley. However, it’s good to see our loan players being used for the entire match.

Gedion Zelalem
Zelalem got 61 minutes in Rangers’ 0-0 draw against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup. However, by the looks of Twitter, Rangers’ fans’ love-in with the midfielder has come to an end and many seem to find his frustrating to watch.
I’m sorry but I get so frustrated watching Gedion Zelalem play, over Shiels or Law.

Gedion Zelalem yet again allowed over 60 mins. The appearance of him on Team Sheet must brighten your day… If you manage opposition team!

Wellington Silva
Wellington got 81 mins in Bolton’s 2-1 win over Rotherham and although he couldn’t find the net this match, his time on the pitch proves how valuable he is to the Championship side.
