For the third year running, Arsenal will face Hull City in the FA Cup and at this point it’s no wonder their players are a little sick of the sight of us.

2014 saw the Gunners come from 2-0 down to win the cup at Wembley, just when the Tigers probably thought it was the best day of their lives. Then, eight months later in their next FA Cup game, we knocked them out in the third round before their cup run could even begin.

Like this season’s fifth round tie will be, that match was at the Emirates Stadium. If the draw were the other way around, you’d think the playing field would be somewhat even, but Arsenal have a better squad as well as home advantage once again. So the reactions of some Hull City players were far from surprising.

Meanwhile, Arsenal loanee Isaac Hayden, who could play against Arsenal in the game, had this to say.

Chuba Akpom simply retweeted the official club account after they mentioned his fourth round hat-trick against Bury.

Aaron Ramsey, our cup final hero from 2014, was also apparently interested by the draw.
