Arsène Wenger faced the media on Monday, and confirmed that  the Gunners will send Serge Gnabry out on loan this deadline day.

The German attacking midfielder has spent the season with West Bromwich Albion so far, but has struggled for playing time and will be sent out on another loan to get minutes under his belt.

Speaking to the press, Wenger confirmed that Gnabry will be heading to the Championship with a recall clause so Arsenal can use him later on in the season. Two clubs are in the running for his signature, which Brighton and Charlton have both reportedly been interested in.

The only other activity you could expect to see from Arsenal involves Mathieu Debuchy, who has been linked with a move to various clubs this window after voicing his discontent at Arsenal. He has hardly played all season, but a move elsewhere is looking unlikely at this point. If anything he will only head out on loan.

Debuchy seems to have had all month to complete a switch to Aston Villa but, for whatever reason, it hasn’t happened. Right now it looks like he won’t get his move, and any loan deal will have to be arranged quickly.
