After a small run of games, Arsenal defender Gabriel is out injured and has travelled back to Brazil for treatment.
This was a rumour already around on Sunday and Monday, and there’s now a picture of the Brazilian in his home country with former club Vitoria to prove the claims aren’t nonsense.
After three games in the side at the expense of Per Mertesacker, Gabriel must be frustrated but he appears to have taken the injury well.
“I had a good run in the side, but now I’m injured,” said the defender, who has an issue with his thigh.
Gabriel on being back at old club: “I’m too happy to go back, see my friends. This club has always welcomed me, gave me strength.” #Arsenal
