Southampton travel to the Emirates after they beat us 4-0 on Boxing Day and I think it’s fair to say, we need a result to restore the balance.
The Saints have always been immense against us and even when we have managed to scrape three points, it’s never been easy.
A win for Arsenal will put us back on level terms with our title rivals Leicester if they fail to get a result at home to Liverpool, while Man City, who sit just above us in second, travel to Sunderland.
Unfortunately Tomas Rosicky is out again with a thigh strain after making his first appearance back against Burnley on Saturday. Other than this, everyone else is fit and ready to play.
Here’s how the teams line up.
Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal; Flamini, Ramsey; Campbell, Ozil, Alexis; Giroud.
Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Mertesacker, Chambers, Coq, Ox, Walcott.
Southampton: Forster, Cedric, Fonte, Long, Mane, Tadic, Wanyama, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Van Dijk, Bertrand.
Subs: Stekelemburg, Yoshida, Clasie, Martina, Pelle, Juanmi, Targett.
