Still waiting for his Premier League debut, Mohamed Elneny will miss Arsenal’s clash against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The midfielder, signed from Basel last month, already has one young son and it appears that his wife has given birth again. Staying behind, presumably, to be with her, he’s not in Sunday’s squad.

That means Mathieu Flamini starts again, with Francis Coquelin deemed not yet ready to start for the Gunners in the league.

Hopefully everything has gone smoothly for Elneny and his family, congratulations to them! And, with any luck, we’ll see him back in the squad soon.
