Abou Diaby has still not played a single minute for Marseilles as the former Arsenal man continues to fight his way back from injury.
Available and on the bench for the French side’s Sunday game against Saint-Etienne, Diaby was an unused substitute and could only watch on as Marseille grabbed an injury time equaliser to claim a 1-1 draw after going down to ten men in the 60th minute.
To be fair, given the club initiation he had when he arrived at Marseille, it’s a wonder he’s even able to walk… we all know that small accidents like this can put someone of Diaby’s fragile nature out for six months:

Still, good to see him on the bench and getting closer to playing. Marseilles next game is on Thursday in the Europa League against Athletic Bilbao.
