Arsenal u18s beat Coventry City u18s on Monday night 7-6 on penalties.
After 90 minutes the match was left at 1-1 after goals from Coventry’s Jak Hickman and Arsenal’s Robinson. In extra time, wonderkid Malen put the Young Guns ahead before a last minute equaliser from Sambou put the score back on level terms.
The match then went to penalties and it seemed neither team were going to give up. However, finally, Arsenal goalkeeper Hugo Keto made a save to put us through to the next round where we face Liverpool.
Malen only signed a professional contract with Arsenal recently but appears to already be living up to his reputation of being a huge prospect.
Just watch his touch in training!
