Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he wants Serge Gnabry back from West Brom.

The forward has been through a bit of a strange time on loan at West Brom this season. He’s barely been used and after half a season, it looks as if we’d had enough and are bringing him back.

The German is reportedly desperate to come back to north London after finding his time at the Hawthorns wasted.

After our 2-1 against Burnley in the FA Cup on Saturday, Wenger admitted that he does want to loan Gnabry out again, saying:

“Yes. I am tempted to let him go somewhere [on loan], do with him what I did with Coquelin.”

I’m sure the manager will be a lot more thorough with his screening process this time and will ensure our player actually gets time on the pitch. A loan move is supposed to help youngsters gain experience, not dent their confidence.

The whole situation has been really odd and handled really strangely. The one I really feel sorry for is Gnabry.
