Arsene Wenger spoke about Arsenal’s two goals against Burnley after the match and admitted that Calum Chambers is indeed ‘quite good’ at finishing.

Chambers scored our first goal over the course of our 2-1 win in the FA Cup. The finish was fantastic and I’m sure I’m not the only one who didn’t realise the full-back had it in him. It should also do wonders for his confidence, which is improving, but could still be higher.

“I would say they are two completely different goals,” Wenger said.

“One came from a build up in the final third, where we were patient and moved the ball well, with great finishing from Chambers. He’s quite a good finisher in training.”

Although Burnley equalised not that long after we went ahead, fortunately we went ahead again in the second half thanks to an unreal Alexis Sanchez goal and this time we managed to hold onto it.

“The second one was in transition, coming out quickly from the back and finishing well, with a lot of pace,” the boss continued.

“They were two completely different goals.”

The second goal was the ultimate Arsenal goal. We passed out from the back while the pacey Alex Iwobi and co. surged forward and the finish itself from the Chilean was stunning. It’s been a while since we’ve seen such a goal from this side. Hopefully it’s the start of many more.
