In the wake of Theo Walcott’s landmark 10th year at Arsenal, the forward appeared on the cover of and did an interview with Sports Magazine.
The 26-year-old revealed during his interview that the decade has flown by and that, despite the highs and lows that have come with his career, he wouldn’t change any part of it.

Despite being a huge part of our squad, it’s frustrating to think of where Theo could be if he hadn’t gone through months of injuries. The forward has had to deal with a number of issues and if he hadn’t been sidelined, he could, in theory, be several times the player he is now.
“The time has gone so quickly, that’s the thing,” the England international said.
“Now I understand what they say about a sportsman’s career not being long. It just flies by. Thinking about all that’s happened in that time – ups, downs and all sorts – it’s been special. I wouldn’t change any of it. Nothing at all.”
Although he probably knows this, it’s good to hear that he wouldn’t change anything. It would be easy for him to sit back and think about what he could have achieved if he hadn’t had his career sidetracked but there’s no point lamenting circumstances he has no control over now. All he can do is look forward.
