Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is back in training at last.

The England international hasn’t played since April but is back in training and is set to make an appearance for Arsenal u21s next week.

It’s a timely boost for the Gunners, as Welbeck isn’t just a quality player but can play on either wing as well as up front. Should he prove his fitness it will take a huge weight off the shoulders of Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott ahead of the title run-in.

There’s still plenty of time for him to have an impact on the title race and, hopefully, force his way back into Roy Hodgson’s plans for Euro 2016. Welcome back, Danny!
