A win at home against Chelsea could not only send Arsenal back to the top of the Premier League table, it could restore the balance after our controversial 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season.
Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are expected to both return against the Blues after Ozil was out with a minor foot injury against Stoke and the Chilean has been sidelined since Norwich with a pulled hamstring.
New boy Mohamed Elneny could also potentially make his first start for Arsenal, while Tomas Rosicky played 45 minutes for the u21s on Friday so could be on the bench.
For Chelsea, despite not training all week, it’s thought that the lovely Diego Costa will be able to take part in the clash. Eden Hazard returns after being sidelined, while Radamel Falcao is still out.
Here’s how both teams line up:
Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Ramsey, Flamini, Campbell, Ozil, Walcott, Giroud
Subs: Ospina, Chambers, Gabriel, Gibbs, Elneny, Ox, Alexis
Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Oscar; Diego Costa
Subs: Begovic, Cahill, Baba Rahman, Loftus-Cheek, Traore, Hazard, Remy
